Our mission is to help strengthen our local communities by providing grants to organizations that are vital to the well-being, growth and prosperity of the places in which we live and work. Since its inception in 2004, the Foundation has donated over $1.6 million to area non-profit organizations.
The Savings Bank of Danbury Foundation was established to provide grants to eligible 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organizations in five primary areas:
The Grants Committee will meet once a year to review requests. Our 2019 Foundation Grant Application is now closed, please check back in the summer of 2020 to apply.
